REAGANS KIDS is a radical collective and supportive network of artists, activists, writers, film-makers, musicians, thinkers, builders and re-builders shaped by a common socio-political history of rampant capitalist destruction, personal and social fragmentation and redefinition, the decomposition of the American dream, Wars on Terror//Self//Other, the emergence of a new class (warfare), boundless optimism and the reclamation of making, & unprecedented national excess and loss.
We are interested in hearing, seeing, reading, and printing work from various perspectives that rallies around our common socio-political background, and therefore that speaks to and flirts with the ways in which our generation exists, persists, and has its fun.
We are dedicated to lending our efforts and voices and hearts and hands unconditionally to one another, to give voice to the struggle and the desire to live fully and honestly, to turn the sad tides of accumulation and ambivalence, to see changes in the world because we’ve made them.
We publish biannual-ish collections of fiction, non-fiction//essay, poetry, visual art, and music//film. We accept submissions year-round, but please see our ‘Press’ page for details on how to contribute and what we are looking for.
